10 ways the FIXR Entry Manager will improve your ticket scanning

From solving the issue of queues for Beckenham Fireworks to increasing overall ticket sales for Illuminate light trails, we're pretty confident in the abilities of the FIXR Entry Manager to improve access control for event organisers of all sizes!

Below are just ten reasons why downloading the FIXR Entry Manager app could make your ticket scanning and entry management a whole lot easier.

Reduce queues with multiple entry points

For events with a large number of attendees and multiple entry points, one ticket scanner is not nearly enough. Helpfully, the FIXR Entry Manager enables mobile ticket scanning across multiple devices to simultaneously admit ticket holders, helping to cut down queues and improve the flow of attendees.

Speed up entry with rapid ticket scanning

Our normal ticket scanning mode is pretty quick, enabling you to successfully scan a ticket every four seconds. But if that isn't fast enough, you can employ ‘Quick Scan'. This speeds up the QR code scanning process by auto-confirming any single-ticket bookings. Two seconds per scan, that’s it.

Protect your data with access tokens

Access tokens provide door staff with all the necessary scanning features, without giving them access to private data like sales figures or event settings. They simply use a 6-digit code to log in and start scanning. These tokens are event-specific, meaning that door staff will only have access for one event, and you can delete them at any time.

Get warnings for late entry

If any of your tickets have 'last entry' times, the app will display a warning when scanning a ticket that has passed its specified last entry time. You can also decide on a delay to the warning to allow late admission, allowing you to have full oversight of the scanning process.

Search for ticket holders by name

If someone's having trouble finding their ticket - whether their phone has run out of battery or they've accidentally deleted the email - you can simply search for their name to confirm the booking. This will invalidate their QR code at the same time, meaning that there will be no double entries on a single ticket.

Stay on sale after doors have opened

You can continue selling tickets on the door once an event has started. Unlike other ticketing platforms where you have to stop sales in advance and miss out on last-minute bookings, with the FIXR Entry Manager app people can buy tickets in the queue and be scanned in instantly, maximising your revenue.

See real-time metrics

The FIXR Entry Manager app displays real-time ticket metrics. This means you can manage capacities safely and easily see how many attendees have been admitted. Check-ins are immediately synced across all scanning devices, meaning door staff never have to worry about having incomplete or unsynchronised data.

Admit multiple people with a single QR code

FIXR creates one QR code for a group booking, so save yourself time by admitting multiple people with one scan.

You can also admit some now, and some later. Select whether to admit the whole booking or only part of it. If only some of the group are initially admitted, then the QR code will stay active when the rest of that group arrives. Simply scan the QR code again and select the number to admit. You can do this multiple times, so long as unused tickets remain on the booking.

Avoid connection stress with Offline Mode

Don’t worry if you won’t have internet access whilst scanning, as we’ve developed an offline mode. Simply download the list of attendees in advance of the event and select 'Offline Mode' on the app.

Scan tickets sold on other platforms

Not only has the Entry Manager been designed so that you can select which ticket types can be scanned by a particular device, you can also scan tickets sold on other ticking platforms. Just upload these lists to the FIXR Entry Manager app and all your access control can be managed in one place.
