What's New: Embed media in your event descriptions

Following our recent update to allow rich text formatting in your event descriptions, you can now take things even further.

Embed videos and audio directly into your event descriptions on FIXR, and give your audience a real taste of what’s to come before they even hit the ticket button.

Bring your event listing to life

Whether it’s last year’s aftermovie, a new DJ mix or your headliner's latest release, you can now drop media from the following right into your event page:

• YouTube
• Vimeo
• Spotify
• SoundCloud
• Mixcloud

No more relying on a few lines of text to tell the whole story. Add the sights and sounds that capture the energy of your event and turn browsers into buyers.

A 30-second video clip or track preview can do what a paragraph can’t: show people exactly why they don’t want to miss your event.

Now, when someone lands on your listing, they get more than just the details – they get the vibe.

How to get started

It’s as easy as copy and paste. Head to the event editor, drop in your media links, and they’ll appear embedded right in your description.

This update is available across the FIXR platform and Ticket Shop. Start using it today to level up your listings and bring your events to life.
