Motion launch fundraiser to secure long-term future

Legendary Bristol venue Motion have launched the #KeepMotionMoving campaign, a fundraising initiative aimed at securing a permanent home for the iconic club (and its sister venue Marble Factory).
With its current location scheduled to close in July 2025, the campaign is looking to raise £250,000 to support relocation to a new freehold property within the city.
As a ticketing partner that’s worked with not just Motion but countless other clubs across the UK, we know first-hand how vital venues like this are to the scene.
It's closure would represent a significant shift not only for Bristol, but for the wider nightlife industry, where independent venues continue to face challenges related to redevelopment, rising costs, and lease insecurity.
As Daniel Law-Deeks, Managing Director of Motion, put it:
“Motion is more than just a club, it’s a cultural institution that has put Bristol on the global music map. Losing it would be a devastating blow... We need our community’s support now more than ever.”
