The Cambridge Club Festival Launches The Discovery Den

A weekend of disco, DJs and dance: The Cambridge Club’s electronic dance and DJ line-up for 2023 revealed

The Cambridge Club is the ultimate feel-good festival of Dance, Disco, and Discovery. Expect an array of iconic DJs from the pioneering party-starter Fat Tony to electronic music institution Eats Everything, to an inaugural rave lock-in with Dick & Dom – 2023 is set to be an unforgettable weekend.

Between the boughs of the beautiful Orchard The Discovery Den will host a wealth of dance music royalty, including kingpin of the 80’s club scene DJ Fat Tony, drag queen-come-DJ extraordinaire Jodie Harsh, plus icon of the decks Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy. The electrifying Denise Van Outen returns to the festival, and WAZE and Bestley will keep the party pulsing. ABBA Disco Wonderland will come with remixes of songs we know and love. Also lighting up the stage includes the dynamic Chris Jammer, DJ Chris Brown, Banger Hour, Lovetime Guarantee, Heavy Soul and Huns n Roses.

As the sun sets, the party doesn’t stop, as beneath the apple trees, the Discovery Den transforms into the campers-exclusive After Dark stage hosting Party-Time Continuum – On Friday 9 June, campers will be treated to Dan Shake, The London Disco Society and Fate FM for a blend of bangers and anthems ‘til the early hours. Saturday 10 June will see Eats Everything, a legend of the House music scene with a past residency at XOYO, club anthems such as ‘Entrance Song’ and experience
playing at some of the world’s largest clubbing institutions igniting the stage.

Tribute to Fleetwood Mac Rumours Have It will bring a nostalgic DJ performance which remixes and re-imagines the band’s beloved hits, alongside Stuart Banks lighting up the stage.

Elsewhere across the Orchard during the night and into the early hours, partiers will be treated to a hilarious game of Bongo’s Bingo and a legendary rave lock-in with Dick & Dom.

On Sunday 11 June, there will be intense sets from Chris Jammer and Cryptix, and festival fans’ favourite Banger Hour presents BANGATHON! With endless hits playing, and The Cambridge Club Closing Party to finish off the weekend.

This year, the festival will see an expansion of its camping facilities – from pre-pitched and glamping to a bring-your-tent, plus more space for live-in campervans. There will be parking on-site for the first time, and the beautiful apple orchard (centrepiece of the site) will be extended to full capacity – providing more space for a huge variety of incredible acts and on-site entertainment.

The new and enlarged orchard will house two more stages including the Discovery Den: The Imagination Station – the festival’s expanded family entertainment and children’s activities area and the Auditorium of Intrigue, hosting comedy acts and discussion panels.

Founded on a passion for feel-good tunes and dancing, The Cambridge Club brings together friends and family of all ages to share in a celebration of music, comedy and culture.
